I approach counseling with the awareness that feeling stuck can be very distressing. Encountering difficulty with one’s emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and body sensations is both common and hard to process alone.

My background includes helping young adults and adults with their anxiety, depression, mood swings, relationship conflicts, substance use, trauma, and difficulty adjusting to transitions.

Dialectics are a core part of my main theoretical orientation in counseling using Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Thinking dialectically means coming to terms with the fact that opposites are often true at the same time. For example, acceptance and change can present a complicated duality when seeking therapy. If given the chance to work with you, I would love to help you find ways to accept yourself and still push for the changes you want to see in your life.
